Ron Reid, APR, was senior vice president of a major PR firm before he became an independent consultant 13 years ago.He has served more than 100 regional and national clients, including Continental Airlines, Whirlpool Corporation, the U. S. Virgin Islands, and the Virginia State Lottery.

Ron has taught effective communications techniques to management and staff of the Virginia Department of Transportation, Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia Economic Developers Association, the Library of Virginia, the IRS, Richmond Redevelopment & Housing Authority, the Smithsonian Institution, the U.S. Army, Crutchfield Electronics, and Mitre Corporation, among others.

Ron is a partner in Lauron Associates and an affiliated faculty member at Virginia Commonwealth University's School of Mass Communications.
