This course is for Adobe Photoshop users who want to learn more and to apply Adobe Photoshop techniques more professionally. The three days of hands-on training centers mostly on channel operations and techniques. Topics include:
- Controlling the Photoshop environment, from tools to preferences to color management settings
- Channel and masking techniques and the new panels in CS4
- Use of the Bezier Pen in vector drawing and the Paths panel
- Advanced layer blending techniques
- File formats for web, print, and digital
- Advanced spot channel techniques, including duotones
- Gamuts and color translation issues
- Working with the Adobe Camera Raw module via Bridge
- Smart Layers, Smart Objects, Smart Filters
- Auto Align and Auto Blend commands
