Learn what it takes to rebrand and re-energize a government agency from the top down. This course touches on everything from leadership issues, to employee morale to what it takes to get everyone working towards a common mission—and how all of this relates directly to brand.  So, if you want to talk primarily about logos, color schemes and taglines, find another course.

At the very least, your agency’s brand needs to concisely and consistently answer: Who are we?  What do we do?  How do we do it?  And why should anyone—including internal and external audiences—care?

At day’s end every participant will leave with an individualized blueprint for what needs to be done to begin implementing a practical, cost-effective rebranding component into his or her agency’s every day business activities.

Topics covered in the class include:

  • How to clearly define your agency’s brand
  • Strategies for actively promoting the brand, including insights  on using new social networking technologies—namely FaceBook, YouTube, Twitter, etc.—to get your messages out
  • And perhaps most importantly, how to diligently protect the brand


This is a lively course with plenty of peer-to-peer interaction.  So come with your sleeves rolled up.  And be sure to bring samples of your printed materials—i.e. brochures, reports, press releases, etc.—so we can review them to see how well they reflect your agency’s brand.

Note:  In addition to federal agencies, this course easily translates to the rebranding needs of many associations and nonprofit organizations.
