This course is designed for people who work with graphic design, desktop publishing, and multimedia and may or may not have design experience. You will have a broader creative base for your graphics and composition. With modern art as our guide, we will focus on the elements of line and composition. Topics include:
- The history of type
- Typography's role in visual communication
- Structural line
- Space and kinetic lines
- Mondrian-inspired design
- The elements of line, shape, and space
- Typography and type anatomy
