EEI provides services ranging from creative innovation to detail-oriented execution. We may start by developing your message with
- Writing. People to interview, research to do. You can take the time to do this, or we'll do it for you. Maybe you'd like to see an outline first, but in any case, you'll receive a full draft for review. We'll respond to your review with a final draft that addresses all of your comments.

- Design and art direction. We'll work with your budget and graphic standards to ensure that we develop a look that's just right for everything you publish in print and on the Web.
Then we proceed with
- Editing. Got text? We make sure it's clean with copyediting (we eliminate grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors and ensure consistency with your chosen style) or help you iron out the kinks with substantive editing (we evaluate tone and organization, eliminate redundancy, and rework awkward passages). You can review our work in your word processing software with the track changes feature, or we can mark our changes on paper. Either way, we'll help make your publication more accessible to your readers.
- Production. We format your text, create or adapt your graphics, and scan your photos. Then we pull it all together, using one of our many software packages to lay out each and every page. Our production department has two shifts per weekday and a regular weekend schedule to ensure that your job gets done on time.
- Web development. EEI can produce visually appealing, accessible, and functional Web sites. We can develop content for your site as well as design it. Our Web designers and project managers will help you develop shopping carts, electronic forms, login systems, and all the necessary Web programming needed for an up-to-date Web presence.
- Visual media and electronic publishing. Your publication, video or Flash presentation, or product demo may be delivered via Web, CD-ROM, and/or DVD. EEI can produce dynamic content that reflects the expertise of your organization. We will provide all of the design, replication, and packaging services needed to display your message in a clear, vibrant, and professional manner.
- Proofreading. We read every word, character by character, and double-check the formatting. If we find anything that differs from standard usage or is just plain unclear, we'll recommend alternatives.
- Quality control. You can never be too sure it's done right. So, as a final step, someone who's never seen the document before checks the places we know errors can hide. Proofreading and quality control services are included automatically in every design or production project.
- Indexing. If readers will use your publication as a reference, consider adding an index. Professional indexers construct useful guides that can help readers find information using their own words, not just the author's.
- Print management. We ensure that your printed piece looks the best it can at a reasonable cost by securing competitive bids, reviewing press proofs, attending press checks, and making sure that every copy is folded, bound, and delivered just where you want it to be.
- Transcription. We can turn your talk into text! Capture the dialog of a conference, interview, or focus group on tape or digital device, and we'll help you turn it into a valuable tool for your organization.
- Translation. EEI can also help you cross the bridge between languages. If your message requires accurate, culture-sensitive, and cost-effective translation into any language, EEI will provide the quality translation you require. EEI uses tested professional linguists with a specific area of expertise. No software translation applications are used.
