How to Buy
Two Ways to Engage With EEIWay
Our clients fall into two categories:
- Those who want a system to enable their staff to change the way they work so they can focus on high-value work like planning, creating, and aggregating valuable content, not on lower-value production and fulfillment tasks.
And
- Those who want to outsource some or all of their content management activities for both print and digital publishing.
Since EEIWay is offered in a Software as a Service (SaaS) model, we can offer great flexibility in the depth and breadth of engagement at an affordable price, with little or no upfront investment.
The System Model
This model is best employed by organizations that are committed to maintaining all publishing functions in-house. Monthly fees are based on the number of staffers authorized to use the system each day. The minimum license is an unlimited-use, five-seat license, with a minimum one-year commitment. System Model pricing includes:
- Adapting the configuration to your current workflow. We will help you map your workflow if you do not have it formally mapped.
- Setting up staff authorizations and task-level permissions.
- Training staff members in the general use of the tool and, at the role/task level, in the use of functional components and plug-ins (e.g., Editor, InDesign, Planner)
- Providing help desk call-in support for the life of the agreement.
Initial investment equal to the first and last month’s licensing fees is due before installation begins.
The Services Model
This model is best utilized by organizations that are short staffed or want to outsource lower-value task level work associated with publishing content to various media. Organizations that have less than monthly publishing frequency and are examining staff utilization and justification benefit from this model.
Under the Services Model, there is no discrete cost for EEIWay. The price of the system is included in the price of services. Clients may opt to have EEI edit, design, layout, or preflight their content and publish some or all of the content in print or to a variety of digital platforms.
Under this arrangement, you plan, review, and approve, and we execute, revise, and deliver using EEIWay as the common point of collaboration. You will be able to manage a consistent and disciplined workflow process, all for a set price based on amount and type of content prepared, not the delivery medium.
Typically, organizations can expect to save between 15 and 20 percent of their current cost of producing their magazine to print-ready status.
